Clarity Pro
Wet chemistry. Real answers.
Advanced feed and forage analysis using wet chemistry methodology — providing nutritional composition data that estimation-based approaches cannot match.
What Clarity Pro is
Clarity Pro extends the elemental work of Clarity Core with a comprehensive wet chemistry-based nutritional analysis. This includes quantification of total protein, total carbon and nitrogen, neutral detergent fibre (NDF), non-structural carbohydrates (NSC), equine digestible energy, simple sugars, dry matter, and more.
Metaboly does not rely on near-infrared reflectance (NIR) analysis for Clarity Pro. NIR is a prediction-based method — useful for high-throughput screening, but dependent on reference databases and prone to meaningful variation. Wet chemistry is direct measurement. The difference matters when accuracy is the priority.
Why it matters
For horses with metabolic sensitivities, insulin concerns, or performance-specific nutritional requirements, knowing the actual NSC and digestible energy content of their feed is not optional — it is essential. Estimated values carry uncertainty that can have real clinical consequences.
Clarity Pro gives owners, managers, and nutritionists the actual numbers — not a prediction. Combined with elemental data, it provides one of the most complete feed intelligence pictures available in the equine space.
Wet-bench chemistry only
Metaboly does not use NIR for Clarity analyses. All Clarity Pro nutritional quantification is performed by direct wet chemistry in a traditional analytical laboratory — the same standard applied in Clarity Core elemental work. The result is accurate, reproducible data you can act on with confidence.
We're working hard to bring Clarity Pro to life — new methods, real wet chemistry, and a price point that makes next-generation nutritional analysis genuinely accessible. If you'd like to be first to know when it launches, get in touch.
